ProTable Scraper ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy outlines how your data is handled when you use the ProTable Scraper browser extension.

1 Data Collection

ProTable Scraper is designed with a "Privacy First" philosophy. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data or any content from the web pages you visit. Your data remains entirely within your control.

2 Local Processing

All data extraction, cleaning, filtering, and formatting is performed exclusively within your local browser environment. The content of the tables you scrape is never uploaded to our servers, stored in external databases, or shared with third parties. Exported files (CSV, Excel, JSON, or Markdown) are written directly to your own device.

3 Third-Party Services

We use ExtensionPay and Stripe to manage license verification and payment processing for our Pro features.

  • Stripe: When you purchase a Pro license, payment information is processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card details or bank information.
  • ExtensionPay: This service is used strictly to verify your Pro license status. No browsing data or scraped table content is sent to ExtensionPay.

4 Permissions Requested

Our extension requests the narrowest set of permissions needed to function:

  • Storage: Used solely to save your local preferences (such as dark/light mode) and your Pro license state on your device.
  • Downloads: Required to save your generated CSV, Excel, JSON, or Markdown files directly to your machine.

The extension also requests the following host access:

  • Access to all websites (<all_urls>): Required so the extension can detect tables and grids and inject export controls on any page you choose to use it on. Page content is only read locally when you initiate an export and is never transmitted.
  • extensionpay.com: Used only by ExtensionPay to verify your Pro license status.

5 Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the extension constitutes your agreement to the updated policy.
